Young Adults

Bridgetown Young Adults exists to connect a generation to the life of the church. To empower and embolden a generation hungry for the presence of God by nurturing authentic spaces of connection, encounter, and formation as we practice the way of Jesus together in Portland.

Rhythms

Encounter

  • On the second week of every month, young adults from across the city of Portland are gathering for a time of worship, prayer and encounter at 7pm at the Gym in BibleProject (1302 SE Ankeny St, Portland, OR 97214)

    Upcoming Dates:

    • Nov 13

    • No Dec Gathering

    • Jan 15

  • Throughout the year, our church family sets aside 40 days of continuous prayer. During these seasons of 24/7 prayer, we reserve times for all of our young adults to gather in the prayer room for a time of guided prayer & worship together.

Events page will update with these times in season.

Connection

  • Our annual retreat is a time to step away together, deepen friendships, and encourage one another as we pursue Jesus.

    When: Feb 6-8, 2026

    Registration will open in November.

  • Each month after the 5 PM Gathering we gather around the table, meet new people, and get connected.

Every second Sunday of the month.

  • Christmas Dinner, Bangers Game, Beach Day, and Spring Pick-Up Soccer.

See Events page for upcoming events.

Formation

  • We need Young Adults leading, taking ownership and responsibility for their church. We long to see young adults serving and playing their part in every aspect of our 5 PM Gathering.

From leading the 4 PM Pre-Gathering Prayer, serving with Bridgetown Kids, participating in prayer ministry response or helping with hospitality, we encourage you to find a place to serve at Bridgetown.

  • Church is about sharing life together. Bridgetown Communities are the way we gather during the week around the table to be the people of Jesus in our neighborhoods.

    BASICS

  • The Bible study is a space to journey together to rediscover how to engage Scripture as an apprentice to Jesus. The course is for the Bible expert and the novice—everyone is invited, can contribute, and will grow.

When: First Thursday of Every Month
Time: 7 PM. Location: Hospitality Room; Bridgetown Church
