Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. We also gather in similar age groups and stages of life to grow together.

  • Over 40’s Social Hour

    We are excited to host a casual social hour for those in our Bridgetown Church family over the age of 40. Get to know others in your same stage of life. Wine will be provided, bring an hors d’oeuvre to share. No registration necessary.

  • Young Adults Worship Night

    Young Adults Worship Nights are a space to worship together as followers of Jesus, receive prayer, share food and life, and connect with other young adults in our Bridgetown family. No advance registration necessary.

  • Youth Camp

    Bridgetown Youth is partnering with Cedar Mill youth, 26 West youth, and A Jesus Youth for a week-long Youth Camp at Washington Family Ranch. We look forward to seeing how Jesus encounters our students in worship, teaching, prayer, community, and summer activities. Register to attend Youth Camp.   • Young Adults Beach Day

    Come to the beach with Bridgetown Young Adults. Meet new people, share a meal, play games, and warm up by a bonfire. Attend for the whole day or join for a part of the day. No advance registration necessary.

  • Waterfront Worship with Jonathan Tremaine Thomas

    We are excited to unite with TogetherPDX and other churches in Portland for a time of prayer and celebration of Jesus. Gather with us on the Portland waterfront for worship and to hear from missionary and prayer mobilizer, Jonathan Tremaine Thomas, founder of Civil Righteousness, as he prophetically shares God’s mission for our city.

  • Serve at Waterfront Worship

    We are excited for a time of prayer and worship at the Portland Waterfront, led by Jonathan Tremaine Thomas. We need volunteers to make this event happen. If you have gone through Bridgetown’s safety team training or prayer training with Tyler Staton, register to serve on the safety team or prayer team and meet by the stage at 3 PM. If you are interested in the clean up team, register and meet by the stage after the event.

  • Serve at Youth Camp

    Bridgetown Youth is attending summer camp at Washington Family Ranch, along with other churches in the area, and we are excited to see the ways that God encounters our young people. In order to make camp happen, we need a crew of volunteers, from medic to lifeguard to kitchen, and more. Register to serve at Youth Camp.

  • Young Adults Summer Communities

    Whether you’re new to Portland or simply wanting to lean more into the family of God with other young adults in our city, Bridgetown Young Adults is excited to offer summer communities that will take place from July – August. Register to be placed in a Young Adults Summer Community.

  • Volunteer with Foster Parents’ Night Out

    Foster Parents’ Night Out is seeking to grow their volunteer leadership team; from classroom leads to behavioral specialists, volunteer recruiters to health and safety. As FPNO looks forward to providing in-person respite care again, they desire to develop a robust leadership team and exponentially bless the Foster Families in our community.   • Racial Justice Committee Applications

    The Racial Justice Committee exists to create sustainable structures for fostering racially, ethnically, and culturally inclusive and equitable practices within all aspects of Bridgetown Church through leadership and partnership. If you care deeply about racial justice and a multi-cultural expression of church at Bridgetown, we would love to have you become a part of the Racial Justice Committee. Apply to join a subcommittee.

  • Project Six19 Parent Forum

    Bridgetown is excited to host Jason Soucinek, founder of Project Six19, for a forum designed to help parents navigate conversations around sex, sexuality, and gender. This event is open to anyone parenting young people, and childcare will be provided. Registration opening soon.

  • Leadership Announcement: An Introduction from Tyler Staton

    After a season of prayer and fasting, with deep sensitivity to the Spirit, our Elders and Board of Directors have a very important announcement about a transition in the next season of Bridgetown Church.   • Serve with Bridgetown Kids

    We are exciting to soon relaunch Bridgetown Kids at our in-person gatherings. Over the summer, we will be rolling out a three phase plan to open up all classrooms for infants, toddlers, pre-k, and all the way through grade 5. But we need your help! Serve with Bridgetown Kids.

  • Hiring for Pastor of Kids & Families

    The Pastor of Kids & Families is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth, formation, and development of all Bridgetown families and kids (Newborn through 5th grade). The role includes but is not limited to curriculum development (or selection), volunteer recruitment and development, classroom leadership/ management, and operational and ethical management necessary to ensure successful and safe classrooms and special events. The person who would be most suited for this role will have a holistic vision for Family Ministries and integrating Kids into the life of Bridgetown Church.

  • Morning Worship

    We believe worship and prayer is essential to followers of Jesus, bringing Kingdom reality to earth. Gather with us Tuesday mornings as we worship and pray together in the month of August. We will resume Thursday Morning Worship in September.

  • Flash Boxes for Foster Families

    Flash Boxes are filled with activities, gift cards, snacks, and items for both the guardians and kids. As foster families offer radical hospitality, love, and care for kids in crisis in the community, this surprise box is designed to encourage and support foster families in our area.

    Dates: Tuesdays and Wednesdays

    Cost: Boxes range from $100–125 to assemble

  • Lunch Drop for Unsheltered Neighbors

    Organizations in Portland work tirelessly to provide food for our unsheltered neighbors. We want to help by hosting a no contact lunch drop every week. Learn more about what goes in to a lunch bag and sign up to provide a certain number of lunches each week.

  • Prophetic Words & Dreams

    We believe that God speaks to us in the form of words, images, and dreams. In this season, a lot of you are probably hearing the Spirit speak or having dreams that may be from God. Share with us the prophetic words of encouragement, comfort, and hope that the Spirit is speaking.
