Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. We also gather in similar age groups and stages of life to grow together.

Communities are the primary way that we gather during the week around the bread and cup to be the people of Jesus in our city. In communities, we are practicing the way of Jesus, together, in Portland and we invite you to start or join a community in your neighborhood of the city.

  • Self-Care Backpacks for Survivors of Sex-Trafficking

    Sex-trafficking happens throughout the world, including right here in Portland. The average age of entry into this industry is 13. This is frequently due to a lack of resources, safe and supportive networks, and/or other viable options. Self-Care backpacks make a meaningful impact on individuals who have experienced immense trauma.

  • Bridgetown Community Leader Training

    Learn what it means to lead a Bridgetown Community. In this three-week course, you will see if Community leadership is a good fit for you, and receive the training necessary prior to Bridgetown Basics. Attendance is not a guarantee or a commitment to becoming a leader.

  • Bible Reading Plan

    Read through the Bible in a year with our Bible Reading Plans. Choose between the entire Bible or New Testament and Psalms. Each plan will have you reading a small section per day and include short, animated videos from The Bible Project along the way.

  • Sunday Mornings at Revolution Hall Beginning Jan 26

    Old Laurelhurst Church has new ownership and a new church is moving in! So that means we are relocating our morning gatherings until our building renovations are complete. Until then, gather with us at Revolution Hall, on SE Stark & 14th Ave. Bridgetown Kids Ages 0 – Grade 5 will be available. Parking is limited. Plan to arrive early.

  • Super Bowl Sunday Gatherings

    On Super Bowl Sunday, gather with us at Revolution Hall at 10 AM, or at First Baptist Church at 6 PM. Bridgetown Kids will be available at both the morning and evening gatherings. This is a great opportunity to spend time with friends, neighbors, and your Bridgetown Community.

  • Alpha: A Conversation About Faith

    Is there more to life than this? Bridgetown Church is hosting Alpha, an open and informal conversation about life, spirituality, and the person of Jesus without judgement or pressure. We want to hear your thoughts and questions as we explore these themes together. Register for Alpha and invite a guest.

  • Young Adults Winter Retreat

    Bridgetown Young Adults will be going to Trout Lake, WA for this year’s winter retreat. We will spend time hanging out together, create space to hear from the Spirit, and enjoy the beautiful mountains. There are limited spots available. Register soon.

  • Nicaragua Trip

    La Villa Esperanza is a home for at-risk, adolescent girls. These girls face the threats of hunger, emotional distress, and sexual attack. By providing for these girls emotionally, spiritually, physically, and relationally, La Villa provides an opportunity for young women to break the cycle of generational poverty that they are often born into. We wanter to partner with Jesus in this by working alongside La Villa’s workers and spending time with the girls daily.

  • Bridgetown Women’s Retreat

    We’re so excited to invite the women at Bridgetown for our 3rd annual Women’s Retreat. This will be a weekend full of community, worship, prayer, and relaxation. This is a time to connect with other women at Bridgetown and with God. We will have access to the beach and the housing is cozy. Mark your calendars. Space is limited.

  • Prayer Gatherings

    We feel the call to be a church that prays continually. So we are creating spaces for followers of Jesus to pray and worship together. Gather with us during the week to pray and listen to the Spirit speak.

  • Second Thursday Worship Night

    When we gather to worship and pray together, we lift up the name of Jesus over every situation, concern, relationship, and issue that we face. Gather with us every second Thursday to worship, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit.
