Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church around the bread and cup, to worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. We also gather in similar age groups and stages of life to grow together.

  • Dreams & The Language of God Workshop

    Explore the wonderful world of the language of God who speaks in a myriad of ways. Learn how to engage with the Holy Spirit for interpretations of dreams, visions, and pictures he gives you  nd others. Biblically-based teaching, real-life examples, and live interpretation, activation exercises and Q&A will make this a highly interactive and dynamic weekend.

    We will be heading to Portland’s classic Rose Festival for some fun on the waterfront. Come join us!

  • One Body United: Women’s Event

    Come together as women of all ages, races, and seasons of life for a one-day Women’s Leadership event. Bethany Allen will be joining other women speakers to lead a conversation on equipping women to lead and learn from one another. Invite the women in your community and neighborhood. Space is limited.

  • High School: Senior Baccalaureate

    For High School seniors only, we will celebrating your graduation with a dinner, and a time to reflect on the four years of High School, and to look prophetically into what God is calling each of you to be into adulthood.

  • PDX Casino Night for Embrace Oregon

    PDX Casino Night exists to support Embrace Oregon, an organization for vulnerable children and families. Our goal is to give eight visitation rooms at the midtown DHS office a complete makeover; where children can visit loved ones, parents can learn parenting skills, and foster and adoptive families can meet with children. Wear your cocktail attire, enter the auction and raffle, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres.

  • Young Adults: Spring Retreat

    Come join Bridgetown young adults for a trip to the beach to connect with other young adults, and to be formed by the presence of God.

  • Alpha: A Dialogue About Faith

    Bridgetown Church is hosting Alpha, an open and informal dialogue about existence, the person of Jesus, and what it all means. We want to hear your thoughts and questions as we explore these themes together without the pressured atmosphere that usually comes with these conversations.

  • Alpha: Meals Needed

    Alpha hosts open conversation over shared meals and we need help to provide home-cooked meals to people participating. Alpha leaders have created a menu but if you would like to create your own, you are welcome to coordinate this with our Alpha Food Coordinator. Each dinner will need to include vegan and gluten free options.

  • Kids Pizza Party

    We want to reward our kids for modeling character traits of Jesus in our time with them on Sundays. Rather than rewarding individuals for individual behavior, we reward the entire class for good classroom behavior! Once a quarter we have a party with our Kids Leaders where we watch a movie, eat pizza and ice cream, and play games! These events are free and will hopefully provide time for you and your spouse to get dinner or enjoy quiet time at home! These events are open to all kids in Grades K – 5.

  • Young Adults: Fishing

    We will be heading to Horning’s Hide Out for a day of fishing and hanging out and good ole fashioned barbecuing. Come join us.

  • Mom’s Brunch

    Mom’s Brunch is a time for Bridgetown mom’s to gather together over brunch and enjoy each other’s company. Anna Norman, Bridgetown mother of four, will be sharing her thoughts and insights on motherhood.

  • Serve: Kids Leaders Needed

    Our kids ministry is growing rapidly and we have between 120-140 kids every Sunday. We need to add 15 leaders to our team to keep up with the growing number of kids. We believe that by taking advantage of the opportunity we have to teach these kids about Jesus and what it means to be his disciple, we can shape the future. Background checks required.

    Dates: Every Other Sunday

    Time: 10 AM or 5 PM

     

  • Apprentice Cohort 2018–19

    Join the Apprentice Cohort and spend a year learning from Bridgetown Church pastors and leaders around the three values of spiritual formation, emotional health, and leadership development. The cohort isn’t for the overbusy or half-in. Each apprentice is expected to attend every morning session and to complete 3-4 hours a week of reading, practice, and interior work.

    Cost: $100 (does not include books)

  • High School: Pool Party

    We will be swimming at a gorgeous pool right on the Columbia river in Vancouver. We will be providing a BBQ so bring your suits and your appetites.

  • Young Adults: Saddle Mountain / Beach Trip

    We will be heading to Saddle Mountain for a hike, then out to the coast for some lunch. Come join us.

  • High School Summer Trip

    We will be heading to the coast this year, and we hoping for a time of fun, encountering God together, and growing as a Bridgetown Youth Family. Register soon as spots are limited.

  • Newberg Church Plant

    We are excited to announce a new church plant in Newberg, OR. After years of planning and praying, Alex and Emily Rettmann have decided to make this vision a reality. They hope to see Newberg and the entire Willamette Valley known a place of God’s presence moving, and lives transformed by the work of Jesus.
