Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church to worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. We also gather in similar age groups and stages of life to grow together.

  • Final Young Adults Worship Night

    As a church, we want to provide space for young adults to worship and pray together, and to empower one another to actively seek God’s Kingdom here in Portland. Gather with us this Sunday evening for our final worship night. Register in advance to attend.

  • In-Person Sunday Gatherings

    We are so excited to finally gather with you in this beautiful space. For now, we are able to offer two morning gatherings with hopes to add an evening gathering in the near future. Learn more about all the details and register in advance to attend an in-person gathering.

  • Pre-Marriage Course

    We are excited to be hosting the Pre-Marriage Course. It is a series of five sessions designed to help couples who are engaged, or considering engagement, build strong foundations for their future by equipping them with the tools and practical skills they will need. Register in advance to attend.

  • Baptism Class

    If you are a follower of Jesus and have yet to enter the waters of baptism, we encourage you to take that step. The Baptism Class provides an opportunity to talk through the new identity, new family, and new mission that we have in Jesus. It also provides a great space to answer any questions you might have as you take this important step.

  • Nicaragua Trip

    La Villa Esperanza is a home for at-risk, adolescent girls in Managua, Nicaragua. La Villa seeks to empower these girls for a better future. Bridgetown is partnering with Forward Edge International to serve alongside La Villa’s workers and make lasting connections. Registration available now.

  • Serve with Bridgetown

    As we regather in our new space for the first time in a year, we are in need of experienced and new volunteers to serve in areas like greeting and hospitality, serving coffee, safety team, and more. If you consider Bridgetown Church home, we invite you to join us in serving both family members and guests, helping them feel welcome, safe, and loved.

    Bridgetown is hiring for the position of Pastor of Kids & Families. This position is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth, formation, and development of all Bridgetown families and kids (newborn – 5th grade). The person who would be most suited for this role will have a holistic vision for Family Ministries and integrating Kids into the life of Bridgetown Church.   • Rule of Life for Covid-19

    We want to use this moment of disruption to grow deeper as apprentices of Jesus. A rule of life is a schedule and set of practices and relational rhythms that create space for abiding in God and allow us to live in alignment with our deepest desires.

  • Noon Prayer

    We want to be a people that prays continually, hopeful and expectant for how God is moving in our lives, church, and city. We invite you to gather with us in person for intercessory prayer. In-person gatherings will be limited in size, and set up for physical distancing. Register in advance to attend.

  • Sunday Gatherings Live

    Bridgetown Church is now streaming live on Sundays. Gather with us as we worship together, learn from the Scripture, and pray for one another. We wish we could all be together in person but look forward to sharing time together online.

  • Online Individual Prayer

    Register for a time to pray one-on-one with our Bridgetown pastors, staff, or prayer team members. We want to support you in prayer however we can. These are 15 minute slots based on your availability.

  • Morning Worship

    We believe worship and prayer is essential to followers of Jesus, bringing Kingdom reality to earth. Gather with us each Tuesday and Thursday morning as we worship and pray together, in person or online via Instagram Live. In-person gatherings will be limited capacity and socially distanced. Register in advance to attend.

  • Flash Boxes for Foster Families

    Flash Boxes are filled with activities, gift cards, snacks, and items for both the guardians and kids. As foster families offer radical hospitality, love, and care for kids in crisis in the community, this surprise box is designed to encourage and support foster families in our area.

    Dates: Tuesdays and Wednesdays

    Cost: Boxes range from $100–125 to assemble

    Time: 9 AM – 4 PM

  • Lunch Drop for Unsheltered Neighbors

    Organizations in Portland work tirelessly to provide food for our unsheltered neighbors. We want to help by hosting a no contact lunch drop every week. Learn more about what goes in to a lunch bag and sign up to provide a certain number of lunches each week.

    Cost: Approx $2 per lunch

    Time: 2 – 3:30 PM

  • Prophetic Words & Dreams

    We believe that God speaks to us in the form of words, images, and dreams. In this season, a lot of you are probably hearing the Spirit speak or having dreams that may be from God. Share with us the prophetic words of encouragement, comfort, and hope that the Spirit is speaking.
