Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church around the bread and cup, to worship together, learn the Scriptures, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. We also gather in similar age groups and stages of life to grow together.

Communities are the primary way that we scatter during the week to be the people of Jesus in our city. In communities, we are practicing the way of Jesus, together, in Portland and we invite you to start or join a community in your neighborhood of the city.

  • High School Summer Trip

    We will be heading to the coast this year, and we hoping for a time of fun, encountering God together, and growing as a Bridgetown Youth Family. Register soon as spots are limited.

  • Worship Night

    Get together to worship the name of Jesus, pray for one another, and create space to hear from the Spirit. Gather with us as we encounter the presence of God.

  • Bridgetown Community Leader Training

    If you are interested in leading a Bridgetown Community, the first step is to participate in the Bridgetown Community Leader Training. This Training is an opportunity for current and aspiring leaders to learn what it means to lead a Bridgetown Community and to be equipped to lead. In this three-week course, we will define the role of a Community Leader and provide you with practical training and skillsets to lead a Bridgetown Community well.

  • Family Pool Party

    Families with kids of all ages are invited to come swim at a gorgeous pool right on the Columbia river in Vancouver, WA. This will be a great time to connect with other Bridgetown families while enjoying the beautiful view and fun lawn games.

  • Bridgetown Falls Creek Falls Hike

    Everybody in our Bridgetown Church family is invited to head to Falls Creek Falls in Carson, WA for a hike. This will be a great time to connect with others while enjoying the beautiful views. Optional lunch afterwards at Backwood Brewery Company. We’d love to see you there.

  • 423 Wives

    423 Wives meet every Tuesday evening through November and exist to support women finding themselves in the midst of a sexual betrayal or sexual addiction of their significant other. We currently have several openings in our existing group that will be available on a first come first serve basis. Contact us confidentially to learn more or to meet with a 423 Wives leader.

  • Alpha: A Dialogue About Faith

    Bridgetown Church is hosting Alpha, an open and informal dialogue about existence, the person of Jesus, and what it all means. We want to hear your thoughts and questions as we explore these themes together without the pressured atmosphere that usually comes with these conversations.

  • God & Women

    A five-week study on womanhood and what it means to live faithfully as women in the kingdom of God. Connect with other women and together we will work through our calling as women and address the current cultrual narrative around womanhood.

  • Newberg Church Plant

    We are excited to announce a new church plant in Newberg, OR. After years of planning and praying, Alex and Emily Rettmann have decided to make this vision a reality. They hope to see Newberg and the entire Willamette Valley known a place of God’s presence moving, and lives transformed by the work of Jesus.
