Several chapters of Exodus are dedicated to the clothing and commissioning of the Israelite priesthood, beginning with Aaron. Why is this such an emphasis for Yahweh? Perhaps surprisingly, this is far from a boring rant but a dominant and scandalous biblical theme, culminating in Jesus.
