Series Overview
God crafted each of us uniquely and bearing his image. We carry purpose, beauty, and goodness in our person—and we also carry shame, disordered desires, illness, and more as a result of the Fall.
God looks at each of us and calls us good. Can we do the same? We carry the good news in our very bodies. Do we believe it for ourselves? In this teaching series, we explore the outworking of these questions as they’re reflected in many aspects of our physicality—work, sexuality, chronic illness, and more. And we’ll rediscover how we can live in our bodies in the world and call it all good news.

This week, we begin by exploring how our work forms us, both the work we are paid for and the work that often goes unseen. As we reflect, we will invite God to meet us in our striving and fatigue, trusting that even here our bodies carry his image and can become places of healing, freedom, and renewal.

This week, we explore the reality of desire—how it shapes our lives and reveals what we trust will satisfy us. As we reflect, we’ll bring our longings, habits, and struggles before God, trusting that even in our brokenness, our bodies still carry his image. Through the practice of renunciation, we make space to reorient our desires toward him, believing he alone can meet us with what is truly good and lead us into deeper freedom and wholeness.
